Thanks for sharing your story with us Juicy. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am someone who has died and re-birthed many times. I am the manifestation of my lineages. I am an artist who is inspired by the beauty of vulnerability. I have always been spiritually gifted, so when I went deeper into my spiritual practice to better understand both myself and my ancestry, that road led me to begin reading tarot for myself. It is one of the ways through which I meditate and pray. Tarot became a mirror where I could see myself without the influence of others. After some time had gone by, I started sharing my skills with my family and friends, with the encouragement of my Spiritual Team and loved ones. All the services that I offer to my clients are things that I do for myself to maintain my own spiritual and emotional hygiene. I create and share in order to show gratitude for my experiences. It’s a beautiful journey. I’m creating community and conversation with those of us that get lonely along the way.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the hardest parts of being an artist is accepting my own vulnerability. A big part of my personal accountability process is to spend time looking in my black mirror: bringing parts of myself to the light and embracing my darkness in order to heal. By committing myself to this process, I’ve deepened my ability to love and empathize with myself and others.
So much of my spiritual journey has been to love myself unconditionally, especially the pieces I was taught to hate. My ability to re-adjust my focus on learning, opportunity and growth are the deepest tests of my faith. The goal of sharing my gifts is to support people who are reconnecting with themselves. This world actively enacts wars to desensitize us from ourselves and each other. My vision depends on me loving myself through failures just as much as success, which is why the real hard part is to stay gracious and keep moving forward past the no’s detours, and closed doors. I’ve learned that this is also true for my clients, which is a lot of what we work on together.
Please tell us about The Juicy Mermaid.
The Juicy Mermaid is the hub from which I operate. I am an educator, psychic, medium,facilitator, tarot reader, plant medicine maker, and a Priestess by birthright. When the woes of the world make your vision blurry, you come to The Juicy Mermaid for support in order to rediscover the divine within yourself. Right now, The Juicy Mermaid is best known for Tarot Readings and Spiritual Baths, but my range of services is consistently expanding. For example, I love teaching workshops about Spiritual Wellness because I think everyone should practice autonomy in all areas of their life, especially Spiritually. I am a Renaissance Femme, carving a lane of my own. I feel most fulfilled when clients begin engaging in their own practice. For me, clients stepping into their own power is an affirmation of the work of The Juicy Mermaid.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
My intuition is what makes me a Boss Bitch.The magic of it all is Truth; being a truth seeker is a commitment with its own set of dangers and risks. Therefore, I don’t do anything that isn’t in alignment with My Truth. This runs over into The Juicy Mermaid’s partnerships, collaborations, services, content, and even the clients I decide to work with. Time and Energy are sacred resources in my line of work. My intuition is my superpower.
