Ashley, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I always knew I would end up in the beauty industry as a career; it was no question about it. I knew I had a passion for it! I started esthetician’s school straight out of high school and solely went for eyelash extensions. I fell in love with how much they could enhance your beauty. It came so natural to me that’s when I knew I wanted to be independent and start my own business with it. When I started three years ago, it definitely wasn’t as popular as it is today. I definitely started and gave up many times before I stuck to it. I knew I had a gift and that’s what kept me going! A year into my business my clientele started to become more consistent and growing by the day! Clients were coming from all over I’m blessed to say this experience still kept me humble I knew I was getting big in Houston and couldn’t wait to see where this would take me! Two years later and my business just keeps growing while staying booked which is the goal! Being so young, just 22 and owning my own business is so rewarding and definitely a learning experience every day. I plan on expanding my business in so many different ways I have stuff in the works as of right now and can’t wait to share with everyone!
Has it been a smooth road?
Being so young and owning your own business definitely isn’t something easy! I’m constantly learning every day something new I can improve on and make my business even better! I see at least 5-7 clients a day so knowing how to deal with different personalities and attitudes is something I definitely had to grasp as my business grows; it definitely has taught my patience! Time management is another topic that I think is very important to learn when owning a business. With being you’re own boss you must stay disciplined and keep your mind or the right track to advance.

I specialize in individual mink eyelash extensions. I’m known for my very dramatic volume sets. I offer three different types of sets, classic, hybrid & volume. Almost every client that books will book my volume set! I pride myself in giving quality work to my girls! I love making all my clients feel beautiful when they get off my table. It lets me know I’m doing my job! I think what sets me apart from other lash techs is I stay in my own lane I don’t see the next tech as competition there’s plenty of clientele in Houston!
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I love most about our city would be the diversity & fast past lifestyle. What I least like and what interferes with my business is the traffic!
