Today we’d like to introduce you to Jose Angel Ortiz.
Jose Angel, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Started back in 2017, I was doing my own songs in 2009 and it was hard to find help in the music industry so I decided to start my own. Our goal is to help new talent, especially locally. We hope to help many obtain their dream and expand our company.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a hard road, nothing comes easy. Dedication and long hours is something that helps you grow along the way and of course this could not be possible with the support of friends and family. I find that one of the hardest things is that friends that you make along the way can be lost, this industry has a lot of “he said, she said” and that is when you start to lose friendship or collaboration that you have done or have in the works.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am the project manager, investor, talent seeker. I also help with production, music, lyrics just to name a few. I basically oversee everything that has to to with my artist. What I am most proud of is that my company does not focus on an artist due to their status of simply for convenience, we help those with talent and help them reach their full potential. What sets us apart is that we not only expect 100% from our artist but we also give 100% to our artist if not more.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see the company expanding, hopefully out of state and then out of the country.
