It all started with George Abrego. He was conducting business in gun shows and then he teamed up with Javier Garcia. As a team, they collectively turned a small hobby into a full-fledged business. It is a business unlike others that are similar.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been an riveting journey. We started in a small office building and expanded to a store as well as being able to accommodate many needs of our clients. A struggle we have was the stigma behind firearms. People usually have a negative connotation towards them and we promote education and safety. We also provide a different experience than your typical shop as we are the dopest gun shop in Houston.
Please tell us about HTX Tactical.
HTX Tactical was established out of a passion for firearms and freedom. We specialize in providing quality parts and accessories for the AR platform as well as Glock handguns. Our name is derived from the city which we are based in, Houston, in the great state of Texas.
HTX Tactical aims to provide excellent customer service, we believe that is our key to success.
We specialize in customizing firearms as well as promoting gun safety. We have been known for our impeccable customization skills and our ability to help our community from school drives to toy drives as well as any aid we can provide during natural disasters.
I believe we are set apart from others in the fact that there is no other company to successfully do what we have done in such a short period of time. We are different and we embrace that.
