Today we’d like to introduce you to Karma.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Karma. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Music has always been a part of my life, I feel as though subconsciously the world around me has been preparing me for the path I’m on. I’ve been writing songs since I was eight year old and throwing concerts with my cousins for my family throughout my entire adolescences. I’ve Released my first single “On these Bars” in 2017 as my first official single release. Since then I’ve been going harder and harder to release a project that I know comes straight from my heart.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
When we talk about struggles as artist I feel as though everyone faces a different fight and for me it has been One hell of a fight. But I’m a fighter always have been and always will be. My biggest struggle on this Journey has been minimizing my self-doubt and insecurities to the point of no existence. Mindset makes up most of who we are and to be in a mind that is not held by the confines of fear is to be free of struggle and Everyday I’m one day closer to achieving that.
Please tell us about your music.
When it comes to something I think I specialize in and really just am Known for I think of R&B. Making a debut R&B track kind of set the tone for my career however it’s in no way a limitation. I plan to cross into many genres as I enjoy many genres. I would say what sets me apart from others is my intention. My intention for my career is to give a voice to the voiceless, to make an impact not only on this generation but for generations to come. Music that helps heal and transform the soul. Music that makes everyone feel LOVED.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I have some big plans ahead for me and my team, everyone I’m surrounded by has been working very hard as well as myself to help aid this vision come to life. I will be releasing my Debut Ep, “Liquid”. In the summer of 2020. As well as visuals to the tracks on the upcoming project. I’m super excited to finally be able to showcase to the world my baby, I can guarantee you won’t be able to skip a track. 😉
