Sista Girl Curls began as a vision of how we could help others achieve healthy hair, and has blossomed into a wide network of “extended” Sista Girls with amazing natural hair.
We are four cousins with natural curls, and we LOVE all things hair. Sista Girl Curls believes in the versatility of hair, and no matter your texture, length, or color, HEALTH absolutely comes first.
Not only are we here for women with natural hair, but for women with all hair types and preferences. WE DO NOT DISCRIMINATE! Together, we will learn new things on our natural hair journey and intend to share our wealth of knowledge as best as we can!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We’ve definitely learned a lot along the way, and for that, we are incredibly grateful! Our customers trust means the most to us & they are constantly sharing their success stories with their friends and family.
Sista Girl Curls – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Sista Girl Curls is comprised of 4 working/entrepreneurial moms. We are first cousins; whose mothers have 30+ years of experience with natural hair maintenance & growth. Using the knowledge, they gave us, we created an essential growth oil to use during our phases of hair transitioning. We even use it on our kids!
We started out with the idea that we would just share what worked for us during each of our growth journeys. That idea morphed into us deciding to meet the needs of our followers by educating them with best practices for length retention, growth, and healthy hair maintenance. Our oil is handcrafted with love!
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
For us, success is customer feedback. The before and after photos; the repeat customers. Knowing that our customers trust us with their beautiful crowns is our most prominent definition of success.
