Today we’d like to introduce you to Me’Lisa Greenidge.
Me’Lisa, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My mom has always been the person behind the camera. Now that she is a grandmother, looking back at the moments she was behind the lens instead of in the frame sparked something so real in me. Do both! Take the photos others would like to see but be a part of those very special moments I capture as well.
Has it been a smooth road?
I didn’t have professional training in photography so the biggest obstacle for me was seeing that there so many “qualified” photographers. That thought of “everyone can take a picture and has a photography business.”

Mel’s Visions is a photography company that focuses on content creation for bloggers, influencers and businesses that would like quality photos to use on their platforms. Once I hear the concept, I take the information and use creative vision to bring it to life.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see Mel’s Visions developing content across the globe. Once the shift of the new normal has set in and national/international travel is safe again, the plan to collaborate with influencers across the world and capture moments will be in full effect.
