Tam, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Always loving Beauty & Fashion while being on a budget, I taught myself how to use my creativity and talent to earn a lot of income with NO BOSS! I’ve sold hair. I’ve done makeup etc. and it all was good income but nails and lashes was my passion. Fast forward to now, I have a wonderful business partner and we will be opening a Beauty Bar offering multiple services from Nails & Hair to Yoni Steaming and Vagicials. I am empowering other women to go after whatever you want. It can be nails, lashes, waxing or whatever just be you. 💞
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Things in life aren’t easy so any journey you take won’t be it’s all about finding balance. I found my balance by collaborating with my business partner. We both had a mutual goal in mind in the same industry so instead of each of us struggling to build up, we thought maybe if we do it together, we can go through this as one and become stronger so that if we decided to open up multiple locations we could and it would be easier rather than harder.

I specialize in Nail and Lash art. The first thing we as humans, see is the face and hands. Especially now with COVID lol, hands are very focused on, so why not beautify them. Same with lashes… face mask has become the new norm for us strangely and a lot of time we as women don’t always want to have to do our makeup so why not add a pop with some BOMB luxurious natural looking lashes or dramatic whichever you choose. Beauty gives us an identity and what way to better express ourselves than in that form. Loving what you do for how you make others feel and giving them that boost in their confidence drives me! I just absolutely love it when my clients leave and just can’t stop talking about their new look… I guess I should say I specialize in Self Love. ❤️
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
As a kid, I always loved beautification and it got too noticeable when my dad would joke and say, if you leave a broom around, I bet you she won’t touch it lol but if you leave a mirror, she’ll pick it up and be in it all day. My granny actually still calls me foxy lol of course, I get my sugar from her. It’s just something that makes me feel so good like, oh ok Nah, miss thang watch out cause she is stunning.
