Thanks for sharing your story with us Derrica. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am a 21 year old Houston lash tech. I started off homebased doing lashes inside of my living room I had just quit my job at Burlington to pursue lashing! I started off doing highschool classmates for cheap and didn’t have a clue on how to promote brand or even start a lash page. I am now in my own suite in South West Houston and I honestly wouldn’t be here without the help of my loyal clients I’ve been lashing for about a year now and I can honestly say I love it I’m a mother of three so being able to work when I want provide for my babies and spend time with my family is amazing I also offer lash classes to help teach and encourage women to become they’re own boss and to do what they love! lashing is more than what it sounds it’s a legacy and I plan on rising until I’m at the top!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t always been easy. Some weeks I would go without clients, maybe one or two and that was discouraging I would look at other lash techs work and would be so amazed and look at my work and get discouraged. But hard work and dedication got me this far.

I’m a Lash Technician specializing in applying individuals lash extensions. I’m know for my whispy lashes and the unique look that I create on the eye. Many of my clients say I have a certain look other lash techs cannot accomplish
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is HAPPY. Not money, not fame but HAPPINESS. I hated working 9-5 jobs and always said I wanted to work for myself. Being happy doing what I love to do is the biggest accomplishment I could ever have
