Meet Bri Hunt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bri Hunt.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have always been tall and lean. People would often ask me as a young teen if I was a model. I would always say no. During my senior year, my mother and I went prom dress shopping. The owner of the store asked me if I wanted to model. She said I was beautiful and the world definitely needed to see me. She talked with my mother and they exchanged information. The owner said she would pass my information along to an agent. I did not think anything of it. Later during that week, I got a call from who would be my mother agent (Images Model and Talent Agency), and I have been working in the industry ever since.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would not call it a struggle, but my biggest “issue” along the way was getting signed to a bigger agency. I wanted to be in a bigger market. I worked in smaller markets for about four years. I entered the Louisiana Model Search in 2017 and won the overall title. The search was hosted by Cynthia Bailey of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and Carlton Morton of Love is Blind. After winning, I was flown to Atlanta to participate in Cynthia Bailey’s model search. I was an overall winner there as well. After attending, I was cast by Michael Gillespie in a national hair campaign for Motions Hair products. Then, I was signed with an agency in Atlanta and now I’m signed with Page Parkes Texas. I thought my success and getting signed in bigger markets would come during my first few years but that was not the case. Looking back, I am grateful that it happened later because I am more mature and can handle the life that the industry brings.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in the runway, print, and high fashion modeling. I am known for my legs. The first thing people notice about me is my legs. Every day of my life, I get compliments on my legs and height. I am known for always filling up a frame of a photo. I love making shapes with my body, especially using my legs. I am most proud of my growth in modeling. I have grown mentally and modeling has taught me how to focus on being patient. Everything comes at the perfect time. My personality and positive attitude sets me apart.

What does success mean to you?
I define success by standing in my truth and not giving up on things that I deem important. Success is internal, and ultimately, you are the most successful person you know because only you know what it takes for you to individually be successful.
