Courtnee, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It all started with an idea my uncle put in my head. Then I just thought things through and what I wanted for myself. I knew I wanted to own a business of some sort but I didn’t think I would do it so soon in life. I got to where I am today with the physical and emotional support of my family and friends. They helped with a lot of grunt work, late nights, and mishaps. I am more than appreciative of every single one of them.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
There definitely have been bumps in the road, like finding vendors, dealing with the state for proper permits and licensing.

We are a Smoke and Adult Novelty shop in the Denver Harbor/Fifth Ward area. We specialize in great customer service, product knowledge, and some of the best prices in the city. We are known for being the neighborhood smoke shop even though we have only been here four months. We hear so many stories about how a family or friend referred someone here because they just loved how personal their experience is here.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In the next 5-10 years, I see this industry booming, with the legalization of marijuana in many states it’s only a matter of time before Texas is next.
