In March 2020, our worlds changed, and like many others, Reasa Selph found herself in an unfortunate position. She was unemployed due to COVID. Just prior, Reasa made a career change from Operations to Marketing and she did not know what her next step would be. She decided to focus on her passion, building relationships and helping others. Reasa knew that she could help many small businesses pivot during this tough time so they could continue to be in business, and even grow their businesses. Selph Marketing was born. Today, Selph Marketing is flourishing, with over 30 clients, and a talented team of eight, including content creators, graphic designers, and event coordinators. The best part is Reasa spends each day doing when she loves, helping others grow.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road. There are times I have felt overwhelmed and wondered how it could all work out. Thankfully, it has been working out! At the same time, each day brings its own set of challenges. However, I do believe if I am doing the right thing it will all fall into place.
