Life & Work with Kelly Barnhart

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Barnhart.

Hi Kelly, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Soon after having my daughter, I realized I wanted to create something for our community that would be a beacon of community, in the form of a beautiful place to gather around food for feeling good. It was inspired by the phrase I used as my parenting guidepost: What choices will foster her vibrance the most? I set off to explore my obsession of bridging wellbeing and pleasure, and Vibrant was born.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It took two years to find the right space! I almost settled for good enough many times but decided to believe in unicorns. I held off and sure enough, found a unicorn.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My daughter Lila who inspired me to utilize my random mix of interests and create something sustainable with them. Our two loving Vibrant mama’s: Angel, our General Manager who proliferates and expands the mission in so many ways and keeps everything operating to effortless perfection. Chef Patti who makes the vision for the food beyond the reality I could have ever imagined.
