Meet Sydney Gilmore

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sydney Gilmore .

Hi Sydney, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Every so often, I look for an opportunity to learn a new life skill I can explore. I do so to keep me from getting complacent and help me learn something new about myself and grow. This journey started with a vision influenced by my grandmother. At the time she was living in a senior apartment complex on the second floor. As she was beginning to experience physical limitations that would threaten her independence and eventually led to her not being able to live alone. I had this vision on how I can make her living arrangements more accommodating and affordable. However, I had no training or knowledge on how to execute it. So I decided to get my real estate license so I can learn about the industry.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The road hasn’t been as smooth as I initially thought. That’s okay because I know adversity builds character. Self-confidence, persistence and self-control. These qualities have played a very vital role in dealing with my struggles both personal and professional. The COVID-19 pandemic was the biggest struggle as it brought about a lot of changes for us all.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Currently, I’m a realtor with The Payne Realty. My main market areas are Fort Bend and Brazoria Counties, Most commonly known for #GetMoreWith Gilmore., because of the unmatched personal experience, patience, transparency and trust I provide my clients. My approach is quality over quantity. Knowing my clients are knowledgeable before and after they make their purchase is what I value most. Being a successful realtor is the first milestone of my master plan. I currently have a big plans I’m working on that I’ll love to come back and share. Let’s just say it’s another stepping stone for the success of my initial visions.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
I’m fully aware I don’t just represent myself, and I owe my success to several people, My husband for his continued love, patience and support, my family and friends for their loyalty, encouragement, honesty and support, especially Anasthasia Jones, as she was the one that gave me the push to get started. Derek Boles of Legacy Homes and Properties, Anthony Harris of Car Game, Roxell Richards of Excel University, Brittany Payne of The Payne Realty Group and every individual I have met along the way that has offered positive advice, time, provided me with leads and put me in contact with the right people to help my vision come into fruition.
