Today we’d like to introduce you to Teri Taylor.
Hi Teri, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I honestly started So Unbothered LLC due to the fact of Covid-19 hitting and having to stay home from work. I’ve always want to start my own line with already being an MUA (makeup artist) but never having the time. So the pandemic forced me to have time and to focus on one of my other goals in life. Small businesses are a process; you can’t just start and expect everything to take off immediately. I strive harder and harder everyday to become a better business owner and entrepreneur. My business is doing great and starting to become known in other states then just Texas.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. Honestly, who wants to buy beauty products during a pandemic and have to a wear masks, but I didn’t let that stop me. My passion for my products outshine all of that and my business is doing well.
We’ve been impressed with So Unbothered, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My brand is So Unbothered and we provide Cosmetics and Apparel. From lipgloss, lip scrubs, lashes and body shimmer to graphic t-shirts and more in between. We are mainly know for our blunt T-shirts and Kissable lip scrubs and lip oil duos. I’m most proud of the fact that I can honestly say I stand proudly behind every product I put out there, as well as having a kid’s line started for my daughter to teach her at an early age that any and everything is possible. What sets my brand apart is that fact that we are not in competition with other brands and just want to get our message out for anyone that need to know that it’s time to stop letting society tell us who we are and live completely in utterly Unbothered.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
I’ve learned that a crisis will never stop what is truly meant to be.
