Hi Tarsha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a former beauty executive and salon owner. Living in many states and cities, I was often asked by my friends if I know a person to do their makeup, hair, etc. When I relocated from Texas to LA, I opened a salon to meet the needs of progressive women in a kind and welcoming environment. I started to see more women post on social media if anyone new of a hair and beauty professional in their city. Just like that, the idea of Pretty Access was born.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
There have been many itereations of Pretty Access. Sometimes your own pursuit to get it right will be the one thing that stops you from moving forward. As soon as I felt I had my arms wrapped around the launch of my platform Covid hit and I felt like it wasn’t the right time to post and promote hair and beauty and the world was in crises. So, I decided to pivot and work on the actual platform and the app while I waited. Now we have a very robust and ever growing platform you can access via our website or app.

As the founder of Pretty Access I see it as my responsibility to offer a variety of self care options no matter where they live work or travel. We offer a chat system where you have access to help assist you in your search. We are the pink pages of beauty, your little black book. You can leave reviews and rate your experience. I have always been know to connect people and point them in the right direction, inspire women to be their best, and encourage excellence. I have been in hair and beauty my entire career 25+ years. Ranging from Leaderships roles, Executive, Salon owner, Product development, and artist. I am hoping my love of beauty and ability to connect women will create an amazing community for women to share and take part in.
