Hi Maisha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Started Real Estate School in 2006 while studying Business Management at University of Houston-Downtown. Worked full-time in corporate America while selling real estate part-time for years.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road; trying to juggle dual career and being a mother and wife can be challenging, but having a strong family support system has been life-saving throughout my journey.

I work for the brokerage firm- Champions Real Estate Group, looking to open my open brokerage firm within the next two years. Real Estate professionals specialize in Houston and surrounding area. First-Time Homebuyer specialist. Native- Houstonian, born and raised. I currently work for brokerage firm Champions Real Estate Group as a real estate sales professional who specializes in first time home-buyers. Looking to obtain my brokerage license within the next 2 years in efforts to open my own real estate firm, which will expand into an overall family business with different branches of the real estate industry such as loan originator, builders, home staging, corporate leasing, etc. The goal is to educate my community as much as possible on real estate while creating job opportunities for people of color in the real estate industry.
