Meet Ariel Jones of Ariel Jones Life Coaching in Galleria

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariel Jones.

Ariel, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was in the process of finishing up my Master’s Degree in Psychology and Coaching Certifications when my company underwent a departmental management change. Unfortunately, with the new change, the incoming director was bringing in her own team. It was a very stressful time for me. Having four children at home and not knowing what was next. It was at this point that I decided that I would never again allow my career and financial future to be controlled by someone else. I completed my Coaching Certification and Master’s Degree, sought out a Coach and began the necessary work to launch what is now The Ariel Jones Life Coaching Co. I have now been self employed 6 years.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Building a company from the ground up is full of obstacles. It wasn’t easy. It was almost 1 year before I was hired. The biggest struggle I faced was developing a brand and marketing strategy that was unique to what I was offering. There are a lot of Coaches in Houston and I had to make sure that what I had to offer was different than anything else my potential clients would see while searching for Coaches. This is why I stress the importance of having a branding and marketing Coach to assist you with the process. This isn’t something you want to take on and Use a DIY method.

Please tell us about Ariel Jones Life Coaching.
I am the sole owner of The Ariel Jones Life Coaching Co.. I am also known as The Devour Coach. I specialize in Professional Coaching that helps my clients discover the negative patterns in their life and retrains their though processes towards healthier choices. What sets me apart as a Coach, I believe is my life experiences and my ability to relate first hand to each and every client the universe sends my way. I don’t believe that people just randomly stumble upon my company. I believe that when they see my website or online listings there is something that speaks to their inner struggles. The thing that I am most proud of is that I didn’t give up on my promise and now I help people live a better life. My company is changing our clients lives in the best way possible. They leave my company with a healthier outlook on life, relationships and their career.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Reflecting back on everything that I overcame, I would say I would have delegated more instead of trying to do it all. I would have hired my Branding Coach a lot earlier on in the process.
