It’s been too long since we last connected. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with our community again. Some readers might have missed our prior conversations, so maybe you can kick things off for us with a quick intro?
Grand Greetings Kings and Queens from Queen Norvella Smith Bryant, A kingdom praying woman, a woman of Distinction and excellence , Wife, Mother. Grandmother. Bonus Mom. Sister, Sister in Law, Daughter in Law. Cousin, Mentor, Community volunteer, co-worker, Friend and a great person to know and love. Queen has the mindset to see some good in everyone and will share her experiences with you to help in circumstances where navigating beyond moments of critical self reflection might be challenging to move to a place of peace, joy, self love and expanding your capacity to believe.
The past two years have been. a challenge for all of us during the pandemic. Tell us how your time has been spent and what highlights you can share?
Life during the pandemic has been challenging for all of us and I did my best to not allow the pandemic to ruin my emotional, physical and mental well-being. My journey has been filled with some ups and downs during the past two years, but I cannot say it was pandemic related. To maintain my sanity during this time, I really made the virtual and digital world work for me. Although I love spending time around family and friends and attending my church in person; the virtual options worked and limited visitations were just a requirement for all of us to remain healthy. I am an extremely busy person, but majority of the things that I do could be accomplished even better in the virtual environment. I participated in food deliveries in the community by masking up and wearing a face shield. My participation in organizations and my church have been totally virtual. Some essential things that I enjoyed were placed on hold while it was not safe to engage. Although majority of things changed, the changes were not all bad. I definitely did not miss the long commute to and from the office, so remote work was and still is a plus for me because distractions are also minimal and daily accomplishments spiked for me. Communication with others actually increased because there was more time, to talk, text, face time and speak more often. I must say that there was definitely an increase in my prayer time, meditation and reflection time. I am also finding more time to work on my next book.
What other projects have you completed since our prior interview?
Since my last interview with the magazine, I am most proud of a few things:
Although I wasn’t able to wear my beautiful wedding dress or have the beautiful wedding that we were planning prior to the pandemics we did have a lake side ceremony with no Guests.
Our 2nd Rhythmn and Reads Book event was a success and my book was still gaining momentum and I made some awesome business and personal connections.
Virtual Speaker for a women’s group which opened doors to other connections.
Recipient of the 2021 Humanitarian Award was the highlight of the year and I am most proud of this accomplishment and recognition.
Website was improved for Queen Speaks Life.
2nd Book project published, Visionistas, Women Who Think Outside the Box.

What feedback have you been getting from your books and interviews from your readers, clients and supporters?
The feedback from my books and interviews have been beyond what I could have imagined.
Readers and supporters enjoyed reading my book and even pick it up from time to time for encouragement and support and sometimes find themselves reading it again and again.
Readers and supporters have begin to journal or finding time to start journaling again as a result of my book.
Readers are saying that the book has literally changed their lives and gave them some hope and new perspectives.
Supporters and Readers are purchasing extra copies of my book for family members and friends.
I believe that transparency sales and inspires and the Book has not disappointed my Readers and Supporters.
Some Readers have encouraged others who purchased the book, but did not read it right away to pick up the book to read it.
My book made it to Dubai!!!!!
Readers are anticipating my next book and can’t wait to read what inspiration I will publish next.
Readers have been asking me to do an online or in person class and I am strongly considering.
Clients call me for advice, guidance, mentoring moments and just for sound advice. I am usually very insightful. I just need to remember to take my own advice some times. As I’m helping others and encouraging I’m usually encouraging myself at the same time.
What can we expect from you in the next two years?
The next two years we can expect for Queen to evolve and continue the journey.
Queen will continue to work on the next book through the publication process.
The next two years will be critical decision making time to expand the business and community presence.
Queen will continue the Brand and promotion of the brand Queen Speaks Life.
What would you say has been the highlight of your career so far as an Author?
The highlight of my career so far as an Author was completion of a book that is making my vision statement a reality.
“To inspire the world through my experiences one book and one life at a time.”
I love hearing the feedback that my experiences, ideas, encouragement and my words on pages or spoken on stage met someone exactly where they were and changed their lives for the better.
Please tell us what inspires and motivates you? Who is Queen Norvella Smith Bryant? What else should we know about you?
I am inspired and motivated by positive talk, encouraging words, soft music , the Word of God, powerful prayers, dynamic speakers who really speak to the hearts of mankind and I love dedicated attention, love, respect and Queendom treatment. I am inspired by people who share similar interests and those who embody inspiration and motivation to their core. I am most inspired and motivated by things that can move my mind, emotions and determination to next level thinking. Queen Norvella Smith Bryant is all about positive reinforcement, family, love, community, positive affirmations, correcting inner thoughts, learning from mistakes, building a legacy and continuing to inspire the world. You should also know that Queen Norvella Smith Bryant is a Distinguished Toasmaster and my desire to speak on stages around the world is a future goal. My desire to be the best wife, mother, sibling, Bonus Mom, mentoring and all of the roles in my life is greater now than ever. I believe that the pandemic has taught me to celebrate every win, appreciate the little things and cherish every moment in life with no regrets.
