Today, we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Hofstra. Amanda was introduced to us by one of the most helpful folks we know, Elizabeth Greever.
Hi Amanda, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
I got started in residential real estate in 2015 just after having our first son. I really wanted to be able have flexibility as we started to grow our family & I was very fortunate to be surrounded by a number of amazing local entrepreneurs that really encouraged me in making the transition. I was on a great team for 3 years & then my husband David & I went on our own in July 2018 to create Hofstra Home Group with Keller Williams Advantage. We now have 3 boys under six years old and 2 more members on our team, my dad, also named David, & my brother in law Josh. I think we’ve been successful because of the relationships and networks we have formed in the greater community & the constant connecting we have with them. You have to constantly & genuinely work to grow you and those around you in order to be successful. Additionally, I want each family we help to come back to us for their lifetime of real estate needs so we make a point to exceed their expectations throughout the whole process & we stay in contact with them even years after their transaction has closed.

Our team helps with all your residential real estate needs from home selling, buying, rent & investing. We service north Harris & Montgomery counties & close surrounding areas. If we cannot properly assist you we can certainly help connect you with a top local Realtor in your area or anywhere in the USA. I am most proud that we are a family helping serve other families in our local area. We have the honor of helping veterans, first responders, teachers, retirees, young families & we get to help them with anything from their first rental home to their dream property. We get to be there for what is one of the most pivotal financial transactions of their life & that is a privilege we do not take lightly. We’ve helped some families as many as 7 times, have been invited to special events such as weddings & birthdays and we are so honored that our connection while working with them was so impactful that they wanted us to be a part of those special moments. I am most proud that not only would a client trust us with one transaction, but they will then go out of their way to send another wonderful person or family to us.
Elizabeth Greever and EverSan Cooper have been great to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship with them as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Elizabeth and EverSan Cooper and your experience with them.
I first met Elizabeth with EverSan Cooper at a networking event thanks to another great mutual friend a number of years ago. First meeting her I loved how she was very intentional with her time and relationships & wanted to not only grow her brand, but grow and impact her community. I have personally had a number of families needing to sell in an as-is situation & Elizabeth was quick to bring a fair offer & coordinate timelines in a manner that best fit the seller’s needs. Her line of work requires a lot of compassion & understanding when buying homes as-is & Elizabeth is always very kind & understanding to make the seller comfortable during the process. I have also had the privilege to see her as a landlord & in my career I will say few can come close to her level. She makes her rentals modern & stunning, including big structural updates as needed, she thoroughly checks into each rental application to be sure it is mutually a good fit, & she is always open to seeing the whole picture without limiting tenants to a very tough criteria checklist like other big management companies may have. She wants what is best for her property AND the tenant, which is hard to find these days. She also is very quick to address problems with her properties which is another reason I regularly ask her what she has coming up for rent. Tenants want a well maintained home and Elizabeth makes that a priority. I’ve watched Elizabeth blaze a trail to educate, inspire, fundraise & contribute to a number of great events & causes in our community. She is a leader, she has an incredible vision, & I am very honored to call her my friend.
