On The Way AC, Plumbing, and Electrical’s history began in 1971 with Ronald C. Bedard Sr., when he began working with his father-in-law’s company Sanford & Son’s Refrigeration after serving two tours in the Vietnam War. By 1976, Ron had opened up Bedard’s Refrigeration out of La Marque. There, he continued to serve the community for over 44 years.
In 2018, James Mitchell and Ronald Bedard Jr. became business partners and purchased the existing company Master Electrical Services. With the company under new management, having James as the new Master Electrician and Ronald as the company manager, they were able to expand the company’s operation ten-fold, being able to serve more people and improve the quality and reputation of the company.
In 2019, Ron Sr. decided to retire and proudly handed down his AC company to Ronald Bedard Jr. Ronald Jr. has been dedicated to both companies and tirelessly striving for customer satisfaction.
In 2021, the companies merged and became On The Way AC, Plumbing, & Electrical.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
We have faced many struggles from natural disasters to economic collapse and global pandemics. Yet, this has not held us back from staying focused and committed to the success of the company and the quality and service we provide to our community. We have continued to serve all of Galveston County, Harris County, and most of Brazoria County while maintaining a 5-star customer satisfaction rating.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Treat people how you want to be treated. Never cut corners or sacrifice quality. Give a fair price for honest work. The customer is always right!
These are simple values that don’t change as you grow. We never had to make a choice to do the right thing because there’s no other way.
