Today we’d like to introduce you to John Guerrero.
Hi John, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Watching my parents work everyday as a young boy wasn’t what I had planned for my life. Growing up walking the same path as them didn’t sit right with me. Not that I’m complaining but I felt like there was more to life then just working a 9-5 job. Trying to figure out the “How” can be a bit difficult, but taking the leap is necessary! Having FAITH in everything you do and believing that GOD will help lead you to where you want to be. I started with nothing, but I knew it was possible. Having family, friends, and surrounding myself with people who truly care have made me who I am today. I’m very successful today not because of the money in my bank account, but because of the family and friends that surround me everyday with love.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Becoming a entrepreneur/owner/etc. isn’t an easy task. It’s very difficult, but it’s possible. Nothing about my journey has been easy, but I embrace it.
It’s what makes it so special to me. The challenges that being an owner bring our difficult and it pushes me to become a better me. Daily challenges and obstacles help allow me to grow and expand.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We specialize in remodeling homes. Anything from restroom remodels, kitchens and living rooms. We’re known for our restroom remodels and how much pride we take in it. Our customized showers and unique paint jobs are what set us apart from the rest. Paying attention to small details and delivering exactly what the customer wants is what we take so much pride in. Working with a smile and actually enjoying what we do is what separates us from everyone else. I’m very proud of the people that work alongside with me. You guys are very special and awesome to me.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I had a huge imagination. Always picturing myself winning an event or imagining myself doing something out of this world. I was shy at times, but for the most part, I was a pretty happy kid. I enjoyed playing basketball and baseball a lot. Honestly, just playing outside with my friends was awesome. Another one of my joys was joining the marching band in high school. It was awesome! Made me who I am today and taught me a lot of discipline.
