Hi Tayunn, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My mom suggested I start my business based off me being laid off from a steel company off the south loop because of the pandemic. I was 5000+ to even be suggested for TaskRabbit which is a third party app for IKEA! I knew a good amount of lucrative people so I started my own business page via IG and Facebook and my work has spoken for itself! Word of mouth has been my most productive work and I’m truly grateful!!!!! Doors will continue and I’m very appreciative of it!!!!!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road! I’ve lost tooling, money profit and so on but it’ll never hinder me!
As you know, we’re big fans of Taylored Assembly. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I started this business off the back of my mother and family(Uncle Richard … RIP)! They have always been my inspiration for original and new projects of household needs. I’m known for arriving on time, communicating and leaving after doing an impeccable job! Word of mouth is key! I’ll leave the secret to a successful business. Keep your word, communicate and never leave the job unfinished and horrible! “No Tools, No Time, No Worries!” is the motto! No worries when you head this way!
