Life & Work with Eliyahu Shmuel Ben Yah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eliyahu Shmuel Ben Yah.

Hi Eliyahu, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is ELIYAHU SHMUEL BEN YAH (formerly known as Apostle Agustin Perez), I changed my name legally in the courts. This change represents the new season that the Almighty is doing in my life because anytime biblically speaking that G-d was going to do something significant in the life of an individual he would change his name. Ex. Abram to Abraham, Jacob to Israel, Saul to Apostle Paul, Simon to Peter, etc. See Rev. 2:17. It also represents the renewal of my level of commitment to YHWH.

In English, my name means Elijah Samuel son of God. I am a Hebraic teacher, Messianic Rabbi under WMEK, and Hebrew Sephardic Union Lion of Judah, IntL (Two different institutions). I’m self -accomplished author and book publisher. Spiritual, Life Coach Mentor. I am a senior pastor of a virtual congregation Mahanaim. I’m an Exorcist and Entrepreneur. I have a Radio and TV Station.

I have been in ministry for over 30 years and I have traveled to several countries as an Evangelist. I have studied over 20 years of Hebrew roots under the tutelage and spiritual covering of Rabbi Sarah Hadassah Bat Tzion. I’ve had many obstacles and hurdles in life but with the help of ( NOT HIGHEST) my Wife Talia and my immediate family who have been my support, we have made it. We have had uncommon financial, physical, emotional, relationship, and spiritual challenges and hardships but we never gave up and the driving force was PASSION. I’m currently writing an autobiography of my life which later on will become a movie.

My biological mother died when I was two years old of cancer ( she was African- American) My father was Puerto Rican but he soon re-married a Latina woman and I endured so much abuse: physically, emotionally, mentally, and even sexually. At a young age, I was very suicidal but I had a praying grandmother who was strong in her faith and prayed with supernatural authority.

I failed in my first relationships, I was in debt, homeless, fatherless, and orphan but YAHWEH kept me. I was a cocaine addict and drunk but have been clean since 1994. My grandmother taught me that no matter what my circumstance or condition that I should never stop praying nor believing. I am living proof of the power of prayer and intercession. Today, I lead a group of intercessors that are nationwide.

5 things to be successful:

1) Stay away from negative people. Negative people always have issues with solutions.

2) Stay away from people that hate you. Ex: jealousy, envy, etc. These are forms of hate. Surround yourself with people that celebrate your destiny, your purpose, your assignment and most importantly they must celebrate you but they must be excited about you because excited people make things happen.

3) Eat Well. Eat healthy-take organic vitamins – Seamoss/ Exercise.

4) Sleep well/ Rest.

5) Have a strong prayer – life!

I want people to remember me as a good human being, Friend, Counselor, good Husband, good Father. A voice for the people, Prophet of Justice. As a singer at ESBYAH Music: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/esbyah/bless-me.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of my biggest enemies was myself. Lacking self-confidence, being angry, bitter, and suicidal. I had trust issues and so many fail relationships.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a Life, Health & Spiritual Coach, Counselor, I’m also an Exorcist. Speaker, an Author (Ghost Writer), Singer, and Entrepreneur. I also work for nacchelps.org a disaster relief organization to give back to the community.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My Rabbi, Sarah Hadassah Batz Tzion is a good support system, and of course my wife and children through counseling prayer and getting personally involved enthusiastically.
