I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
My grandmother, who had full parental rights over me, fell into a stroke induced coma on Christmas Day December 25th, 2003. I went from being an A Student to gangbanging, going to high school, and alternative schools all throughout high school. Senior Year, I was nearly homeless having to take showers in the school locker room & save my free lunch for dinner, which is the only reason I did not drop out. Even though I overcame all of those things and use them as constant reminders of why I grind hard today.

As you know, we’re big fans of RealToonTv Productions & Entertainment LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
RealToonTv is a hip-hop media platform known for breaking up and coming artists in Texas and Beyond! We have worked with artists like Sauce Walka, Maxo Kream, Stunna 4 Vegas, Charleston White, OG Percy, and more.

One of the biggest benefits of doing RealToonTv is that I am able to do what Pastor Donk calls “Trench Work”. I work with people who were in similar situations as I was as a youth and give them opportunities to change their life through hip-hop.

We are also giving back through our internship partnership through TSU. Where we’ve trained and hired Tigers who seek degrees in journalism and related fields to do what I’ve coined as Street Journalism/ Hood Reporting

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Experience is the best teacher. If you want to do it then do it! Contemplating and waiting will get you nowhere. Pay for a consultation to help you get ahead and get to the next level!
