Wi+CoWork is a family business that started about 3 years ago when Diana, Juan, Diego, and I (all family members) decided to join forces and start our own office space. After we search for the right fit for a property, we encountered a different market as the oil and gas had crashed and the majority of the big businesses were dog sizing to the point in which there was an increasing number of empty offices.
It was then when we decided to listen to the property, and the idea of opening a coworking space came to the table.
We first opened with 0 members and 4,000sqft ready to welcome new members. We now have over 120 locals, foreigners, business owners and more that help us out the community we are today!
Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. We have encountered rough financial moments, inexperienced at starting a business model and more but there is always an answer for all of those adversities. Hard work always pays off.

The thing that we like the most about our city is the people and its hustling soul towards everything. You call it the new business owner or the artist who just launched a new collection. Houston is about its people…
On the other hand, since Houston has been historically a city of ”old money” and so forth there are still many parts of an outdoor city or spaces that hold a permanent soul. However, we are part of the new wave that is changing the city!
