Today we’d like to introduce you to Whitney Hill.
Whitney, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story is a story of Grace and Gods redeeming power. It’s a story of how the power of Jesus can break generational curses off of our lives. My story is a literal story of Becoming. In fact my entire life I have been walking out Becoming who God has created me to be, so I don’t find it coincidental that I have a ministry called Becoming Me. So I was born to a single mom and life was all but easy at times, there were times where we were homeless and had no where to go. Times where the bar for my future and life were set so low because I didn’t know anything outside of what I saw. Times where I wondered why God allowed my life to be so seemingly hard but others had it “easier”. But God saved me at the age of 18 and gave me a new glimpse on life and let me know early in my walk with Him that He had so much greater in store for me. He walked me through much healing and learning to see myself and loving myself the way He loved me. Later in life I became a minister in my church and in 2018 while on a fast God gave me the ministry of Becoming Me.
This ministry is to empower people to Become and to let people know that no matter where you’ve been in life or where life may lead you that their is still a call from God for you to Become for Him, for such a time as this. Someone needs you to Become so that they can Become.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Yes there have definitely been struggles, especially with having a ministry. One of the greatest struggles that I have overcome would be fear. I was so fearful to step out to do what I knew was in my spirit, I was afraid of what others may think. But I have learned the hard way that if you build your life on the approval of others, then when they don’t approve of you everything you’ve built will fall to shambles. So if something is in your spirit do it! Go for it! And Become it. There is nothing too hard for God.

Becoming Me is a Ministry that Prays and Fast and believes in the strong supernatural power of God. This ministry was built on prayer and pushes people to Become.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories would definitely have to be church on Easter. I remember the night before Easter I would sit in the kitchen and get my hair pressed and hold my Easter speech in my hands repeating it over and over making sure I had it memorized. Then waking up early for church on Easter Sunday to get dressed and a cute little puffy dress, socks that cuffed over with lace coming off the side and some cute little shoes. Then getting to church to recite the speech that I had studied all night for.
