Today we’d like to introduce you to Tammy Russell Meadows.
Hi Tammy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started Rusmed Consultants in 2012. I was fired from my job After 17 years. I had just started Seminary. It was my Spring semester of my second year. It was time for finals, so I took some vacation time to prepare. While i was on vacation the HR person called and said my position had ended. I asked her way and she said Jeff said he couldnt trust you many more. I was the senior employee and I helped my former boss start his company. I had no problem getting a job. I had several offers in a few days. Every job I got something just didn’t work out. God was redirecting my steps and walking with me and I followed Him! Amen
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Omg!! No it has not been easy. God made every ruff road smooth and every crooked path straight.
The biggest struggle was finding the people with the right skills. Finding person with God fearing character and integrity.
Starting my business on unemployment was also a struggle. I had no money!!

Our commitment is consistent with North Carolina’s best practice effort to decentralizing and reform public heath, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse services system. All consumers whom meet the aforementioned criteria will be admitted and/or readmitted for services.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
