Today we’d like to introduce you to Linda Miner.
Hi Linda, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been around dogs all my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Growing up my Aunt owned a Rottweiler named Rocky. We had a natural connection, no one could do any harm to me with him around. He was my protector and we had a special bond. My Uncle had a Siberian Husky named Milton and my Grandma had a Chihuahua named Princessa. Even at a young age I showed interest in caring for and training dogs.
My ultimate goal is to open up my own dog training and boarding facility. My resume includes experience in major pet stores including Petco and PetSmart. At Petco I learned the pros and cons of products and services for animals. I began my official training in PetSmart as an Area Trainer. One of my roles was to train all the dog trainers in my district before they were dispatched to their home store. After that I worked with a private company for dog modification and rehabilitation. All my experience has allowed me to hone in on my skills as a trainer to provide the best service to dogs and their owners.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We offer pet care services, uniquely tailored specifically for each and every dog. We make life simpler and come to you.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Yes we have taken special precautions during the pandemic and COVID-19 crisis to protect everyone’s health and safety.
