José Antonio, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Came to the US with a tennis scholarship. Graduated with a degree in Economics and minor in Business. After working for 8 years in Dell Inc. in Austin TX doing Marketing, Management, Operations I decided to go back to my passion. (Tennis).
I started a little program and with time, dedication and a completely different philosophy in the tennis industry, it has become the best tennis Academy in The Woodlands. Now, my father (retired Architect) and my older brother (ex Banking Executive) work for hand and hand with me. There is nothing like a family owned business run with passion and with a clear purpose. We help kids not only learn tennis but especially to learn how their mind works and how to use it properly in hard situations to control their emotions, make good decisions and handle pressure with a positive point of view. We are a unique Tennis Academy and our plans to grow and build a high-quality Tennis Center and more clear than ever.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
We have been blessed and so far the road has been smooth due to God’s guidance and the love we have for the sport.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Vamos T3nnis Academy – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Our Tennis Academy is not based on quantity. It’s based on quality and we use our own teaching system for kids to absorb technical, physical and strategic guidelines through the maximization of their Mind.
We know Mind over Matter is not just a phrase. We use it and execute the concept every day with all kids.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We plan to build our own tennis Center with the help of the community and designing a state of the art but small tennis place to help local and international players with our system for the Mind.
