Hi Adan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I graduated from Houston community college with my fashion design degree in May 2020. Graduating during the pandemic meant that our class was not able to have our show put on by the school. So I had to learn how to present my own work. Through that journey of building my brand and figuring out how to run my business, I gained experience and knowledge that has helped me grow my brand. That experience helped me expand and enrich my skills and talents. I’ve grown myself as a creative entrepreneur by learning how to creatively direct photo shoots/ Fashion shows, network with photographers/MUA/models, being an internationally published and a Shein collaboration!!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road I just make it look easy. As I’ve said graduating during the pandemic and the struggles of trying to hit the ground running to establish my brand. With no experience in the creative field besides my degree and own creativity to build my brand with a background of warehouse jobs, it has been eye-opening. I’m a smart cookie, so we have been making it happen and continue to persevere.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a custom fashion designer and creative entrepreneur. I have a fashion brand (Ad’Ann Designs), I make custom luxury garments with skill and creativity. I describe my design aesthetic as theatrical costume and couture. I love the flare of drama with detailed craftsmanship. I incorporate myself and inspiration into all my designs no matter what I’m making for a client. I’ve recently picked up photography. Which I am happy to say I have been published in Teen Cruze magazine as a photographer!! I love all things creative and artistic and enjoy knowing how thing work and executing them in my way and professionally.
