Meet Stina Dias

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stina Dias.

Hi Stina, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Being a host/entertainer or even involved in the nightlife started in 2007. I was on a street team for high school parties in my hometown of Kansas City, Missouri. After putting in the work and seeing the reward, I wanted to build my own brand. That’s how Live Fast Die Pretty” was born. I began throwing major events and bringing out the city. It was unheard of at that time for a high schooler to have that much reach and pull, especially before social media was a major part of promotions.

I knew I had a niche for entertainment and having fun, but I really didn’t know how much influence I had until I brought out people on a consistent basis. Imagine being 14-16 making $1,000 plus every time you step out. It was amazing. Almost like a drug.

After hosting and bringing out Travis Porter in high school, I knew that this was something that I was gone to have attached to me for life.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’m not gone lie, I wouldn’t have wanted this life it was just given to me. So no, it wasn’t smooth. However, I’ve learned so much along the way that has not only prepared me for a successful future but has allowed me to help mentor others in ways that I probably could have never imagined.

This industry is male dominated. It’s hard to create that working relationship, or even for people to take you seriously as a woman. That’s something I battle with daily. Of course, coming from a single parent household and having to figure out majority of life myself. I do thank my alma Matter, Clark Atlanta University. They taught me probably the realist thing I would ever hear from a educational institution: Find a Way or Make one.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am Stina Dias. A host. A MC. A media personality. A mogul. A brand. I am crowd control. I am good energy and good vibes. I host most events that require crowd engagement; that’s what I am known for. With me having the talent to speak to the masses in an urban way, I also have a dancer background so entertainment naturally comes with my set wherever I am.

When people see my name on a flier or event, they know that they are going to have a good time. I truly believe that my love for what I do exudes every single time I touch a Mic to speak. It almost feels like ministry. I am proud that I have been able to conquer multiple cities. I’ve been able to keep my integrity while putting myself in rooms to change my life.

My strength and determination mixed with my work ethic makes me one of the hardest working women in this industry. I put on my boots and attack the day… everyday. Whether I am at a brunch swag surfing over waffles, bringing out Little Scrappy, or doing an IG live fundraiser – I bring authenticity every single time.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
It’s so funny; you can literally ask anyone that I have been friends with – I have never changed. Of course, grown as a woman and matured; but overall I am me. Fun, bubbly, outgoing, charismatic; literally the list goes on. I would break out into dance moves in the grocery store and my mom would be so embarrassed! It’s crazy because it takes a lot to “embarrass” myself.

I was always interested in entertaining people. I always loved speaking and being the voice of reason. Even majoring in Mass Media Arts was a decision that made itself. Since I have always known who I am and whose I am, It was always easy for me to make relationships; long lasting ones at that.
