Meet Madison Sears

Today we’d like to introduce you to Madison Sears.

Hi Madison, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Madison Sears, and I am a college student studying environmental science and geology. On the side, I have a huge passion for social media management and photography. I am a foodie through and through – as a kid, one of my many dream jobs was to be a traveling food critic. My dad also was always cooking, and I grew up eating many types of food. My family also took many vacations and my favorite part was trying all the new food. I started my food review account just for fun, but the growth has been incredible and I have started putting a lot of time and effort into it. It has been a lot of fun, and I hope I can continue to grow and maybe even make a living off of it one day.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Developing my content style and niche was the most difficult part of creating my account. I have always been into photography and photo editing, so that part was never difficult for me. Discovering what I like to post, how to style the food for pictures, and how to write captivating captions was the most difficult aspect. I am still finding my voice today, and am constantly evolving.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a creative, I definitely love the photography aspect the most. I started in nature photography, and have carried some of those skills over to my food review content. I have had a camera in my hand since early middle school and loved every second of it. My art is something that I am very proud of and it acts as an escape from everyday life for me. I hope to continue to learn how to best photograph food and make the most appealing content possible. I would also one day like to help restaurants with their own food photography.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
My boyfriend, friends, and family have all been very supportive and helpful with my content creation. They have been one of the main reasons I worked and continued to grow, even when it felt stagnant. I also love to collaborate with restaurants, specifically smaller businesses and showcase the wonderful food they offer. I am the opposite of a picky eater, so I like to collaborate with unique restaurants with food from any culture. My followers have also shown a tremendous amount of support for my content and I cannot wait to continue growing my community.
