Check Out DubtheG’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to DubtheG.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always been interested in film and entertainment since my youth. I’ve acted in plays for my schools and church and I’ve even been in a commercial before. Starting up a Youtube channel was always something that I wanted to do, but it took me longer to actually do it and take seriously. I wanted to use this platform to explore the range of my different ideas to our audience that could potentially get us to the big screens.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, not at all. I was married with kids young and often had to fight between my own goals and putting what my family needed first. Financially, I took a big risk on buying equipment at times when we really didn’t have the flexibility to take chances. I fought hard to ensure that I put in more hours of the day dedicating to my own future than at work for a company that only saw me as a number.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Currently, I’m a full time content creator on Youtube’s platform and I’m known to be 1/3 of the infamous InTheClutch Ent. group. We dedicate our time to make videos that bring laughter and joy to folks and to push the mindset to spread love and always be that same love. I’m most proud of our accomplishment of reaching over 750K subscribers on the road to 1 million and creating a long distance family with our supporters. Authenticity has always been our key to separate us from others, to not try and “make up” who we are, but give people a real side of us during our good and bad times.

How do you think about happiness?
Love, Peace & Family. I believe God put us on this earth to love one another and through that you can find true peace which makes us all family.
