Check Out Shradha Jani’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shradha Jani.

Hi Shradha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, I’m Shradha, Owner of Eventfully Yours! This has been a magical and the most unexpected ride of my life. Physical Therapist turned Balloon Artist. Who would’ve thought? Almost 3 years back as the pandemic hit I had to turn to another profession to take care of my 3-year-old. Balloons are art and the artist in me instantly fell in love. The Event industry has reached a new level due to social media and I want to be there every step of the way to see where this takes us.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey hasn’t been an easy one. Within the event industry, the trends change constantly so you have to be on top of your game. There is so much to learn every single day. The struggles of owning a small business and doing every little thing on your own take a toll on you physically and mentally. There have been weeks when I have had 10 events per week to having none for a month. You need a heart of a lion to survive and not give up.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a Balloon Artist. An artist in the true sense. We specialize in Hand painted balloons and backdrops. I try to create each and every event different from what I have already done so every client gets a unique and special experience. I am most proud of the progress I have made since I started. Being completely self-taught I take pride in my art and experience I provide to my clients.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I am a complete risk taker. Leaving a well-paying stable job to not knowing how and where your next paycheck will come from. This a risk I took to take care of my family and it couldn’t have turned out better. Someone very wisely said “Everything happens for a reason”. So pandemic was my reason to be the little risk taker.
