Check Out Lauryn Harris’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauryn Harris.

Hi Lauryn, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Music has been apart of my life since I was a little girl. Growing up, I was in voice lessons, church choir, school choir, and that pretty much anything that led me to singing. My parents always play a lot of R&B and neo soul music around me and those genres were the driving force of my sound today. I always knew that I was going to be an artist no matter what I just wasn’t sure how I was going to get there. In 2017 is when I started to write and create my own music. From there is where everything started to unfold.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
So far the obstacles I’ve had to deal with were within myself. I can stand in my own way sometimes due to wanting everything to be “perfect”. On occasion, I deal with writer’s block, which can be frustrating but I always give myself a break so I can come to my projects with a clear mind.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an artist. I used to say I was just a music artist but I am starting to broaden my definition of that word really means to me. My latest project I dropped is called “TOUCH N GO” on all platforms. This project is definitely one of my favorites and I can wait for people to hear what I have coming next!

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I’m currently working on my visuals from my previous project and currently making new music!
