We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. I would handle all business myself. From recording interviews alone to creating graphics myself. My platform will become more with a team. For the past years, I would mostly do all things on my own. I would have interns here and there but as I am rebranding my business, I will make sure to be more precise with the backhouse.

It is much work while being a mother of a son by myself. When I would have night events or have to cover concerts, I would have to get my babysitter and that become more money to come out.

I did a lot of work for free in the beginning and sometimes, I still offer coverage for certain stories and events.

As a writer, in this day of age, blogging is not the same when people can just go on social media and look at videos and images. People are not reading like they used to nowadays. That is what made me different from the other blogs. I actually write, meet the artists, become a part of the stories, they just repost and share videos and get way more engagement than I would.

Having a job at the same time as working on my dreams was not easy as well.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a hostess of my podcast “In The Nyte Lyfe Podcast” I specialize in marketing. I specialize in brand managing and booking assistant for clients such as Legendary New Orleans Bounce Artist Vockah Redu and Legendary Photographer Polo Silk. I am known for covering dope events and interviewing prominent people in the city. I am known for being true to the culture with music, community, and art. I am known for being independent and getting the job done.

I am most proud of my growth. I have paused my business several times. Once I sat down and noticed to work with purpose, I began to work out the blueprint of my own business. As I mature, I noticed I want to help my people more than ever. Since I have a voice and a platform, I will make sure to do God’s service and give the people what they need, The Truth

What sets me apart from others is that I believe in helping others and not too much of gossip. I want you to be able to feel comfortable with sharing your story with me. Many advise with all the time. Now I need to share this love with the world.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
That I have a creative side to me. I was in visual arts since grade school and loved to draw. I believe my creative side of my business and being able to create graphics, produce my shows, and assist artists with content comes from my artistry.
