Hi Eric, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Morningstar Media Group was established in April of 2008. We are a for-profit faith-based production company that specializes in Theatre, Film & Web Series. Eric C. Jones CEO & Lea Jones COO believe that their company creates entertainment you can believe in.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Being a small business is hard due to marketing & getting the word out on our business. But with our reputation of creating a first rate film & theatrical projects, our success is dependent on word of mouth.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We have produced four award-winning short films & have produced three full-length musicals that have been performed at The Chicago Musical Theatre Festival, Houston Fringe Festival, World Fest Houston, The 48 Hour Film Project Houston, Beverly Hills Film Festival & Beck Center for the Arts in Cleveland, Ohio. We are proud of winning NAMT 15 Minute Musical Challenge with White Mans Burden & our 2014 film Dreamland Murders going to March Du CANNES in 2016.
