Today we’d like to introduce you to Frida Avila.
Hi Frida, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
In 2015, I started eyebrow threading from the living room of my home. I kept working and after two years I decided I was ready to move and start renting a small room outside my house. After a year and a half, I quit my full-time job and went back to school to get an aesthetician license. After getting my esthetician license my family and I opened up Beauty Studio called Beauty studio by Frida. After renting for 3 years we purchased our own commercial building And opened Beauty Studio By Frida. April 2021 was the year we opened the Beauty Studio doors. 2 Days after being in my recently purchased building I came up with the idea of building a beauty bus for kids. I’ve seen how little girls come to our beauty studio and are so amazed and enlightened by our pink colors and all our beauty stations. Unfortunately, after the pandemic hit I stopped allowing kids from coming inside and I taught, why not build a beauty bus where they can be pampered and have fun at the same time. So that’s what my husband and I started creating. We designed that spa bus with all the glamour and pink we could find. We thought of every detail we could possibly think of on the inside and the outside. Our bus is one of a kind because it’s not just a party bus! It’s a beauty spa bus. I decided to name it Enchanted Beauty’s because I knew girls will have a magical day of pampering and fun at the same time. We offer mini manicures, mini pedicures, glittery makeup, facials, and funky crazy hair do’s. We have custom made spa bowls that are filled with warm water and bubbles. It’s just a perfect beauty bus for children ages 3-13!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Enchantedbeauty Beauty’s Spa party Bus is just starting and it’s going great so far. I am blessed to have established a beauty studio before and I am thankful for all my clients whom I know they will support as they always have.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I consider myself an artist with a great customer service personality. I have great communication skills with my clients that are very happy with my beauty services that they always return. I am a permanent makeup artist and I am proud to say that I am not the best in town but I give my best to all.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I am pretty blunt with all of my 3,000 plus clients and people who I know. They know the extrovert side of me. But what they don’t know is that I am an introvert with my family members and I can honestly say I have 1 friend that truly knows me. I like to be mostly alone and don’t talk much.
