Hi Angela, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always wanted to operate my own business. A dear friend introduced the tax preparation industry to me, and I was actually a client of her mother at the time. Everything she said to me made so much sense, so I got started immediately!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Smooth? Not at all. I would say challenging. Tough skin is a must as an entrepreneur. The people you would expect to support you won’t, for example, family, close friends, etc. You have to change your mindset and be ready to overcome rejection and disappointment in order to focus on the success of your business.
