Daily Inspiration: Meet Christine Savoy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christine Savoy.

Hi Christine, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started wearing hair extensions at the age of 16 years old. As I got older, I was buying virgin hair bi-weekly. This quickly started to add up, and the hair wasn’t even quality. So, I started doing research and learning the difference between the different types of hair. There are two main types, it can either be Raw Hair or Virgin Hair. I specialize in Virgin Hair because it’s more affordable and can last 1-3 years depending on how well you take care of the hair. Virgin hair is in fact Human hair so if you don’t take care of it we all know what the results can lead to! Hair is an investment, you shouldn’t have to buy hair bi-weekly! Only if you want a different texture, then that’s understandable. At times the price is high, because it’s quality hair. The hair business has grown, so there’s always someone who is selling it for less. That doesn’t mean it’s great quality though. Here at Bella Nicole Bells—Don’t forget the Bells, our goal is to build relationships. We aim to help in the best way possible, and we love referrals! We live by Quality over Quantity.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When you become a business owner, nothing about the journey will be smooth. You will have a lot of days when you will want to throw in the towel. Even when things weren’t going right I never gave up. I took many breaks to take a step back and figure out what I’m not doing right! I’m very hard on myself, because I know I’m capable of doing it. I try to stay off of Social Media, because watching other small businesses doing so well sometimes pushes you a step back. You become frustrated by trying to figure out why it’s not happening like this for you.

I had to do the footwork, because I want you to know who Bella Nicole Bells is! I want it to be known what we specialize in and how we make a difference. Don’t get me wrong sometimes you don’t get the attention you were seeking for and you will get a lot of turndowns. In the end, those who were meant to be interested in what you are offering will be there!

Once you figure out your plan and purpose everything else will begin to fall into place. The only way to get there is to not give up. This isn’t for the weak, you have to grind and find your audience. The moment you do, even the sky is no limit!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am in the Beauty/Fast Fashion business. I currently sell Virgin Hair, Mink Lashes, Press•On•Nails, etc. Actually, you will be the first to know we are adding clothing to our brand! We will now be a one-stop shop! I have been planning this for a while, and I’m super excited about this opportunity.

I have always been known to be a Fashion Girl, setting trends but still up to date with the latest!

I am proud that I never gave up. I am never consistent with anything I start, but this is my third child and I’m so happy I stuck it out. This has been a Roller Costal Ride, but I’m in it because I love what I do. As long as you love something you will always invest more, and put your all into what you are doing.

I am not just in this for a profit. I’m actually doing it because I love it. When you love what you do, that separates you from anyone else! I’m very truthful when it comes to my product. If I’m not wearing it why sell it? I am THE walking brand of my business and you can’t help but love a confident woman who knows what she wants. Especially those who aren’t doing it because they saw someone else doing it! She sets the trend, not the other way around.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Telling myself I will be famous one day!
