Daily Inspiration: Meet Pamela Rodriguez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pamela Rodriguez.

Hi Pamela, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in a hard-working family. My parents have always gone above and beyond for my siblings and I. My dad as a plumber, working long hours special during the Summer. A hardworking man to admire. Mom is the definition of a hustler. That’s how mom and dad made the best team.

Before Photography I worked as a serve at Ihop. Later on I started working at a screen printing ware house. Never in my life Photography cross my mind. I knew I liked it but would never thought on making it a business.

Till I got married had my first born and my husband made it happen. He knew before I did  that Photography was for me.

Pamgphotography started on March 27, 2019. My first born was my inspiration to start my business. My Husband bought me my first camera as soon as I go it, I started marketing on Instagram and Facebook. At first, I was a little skeptical about it. With many great photographers out there, I wouldn’t think I would have the support I got.

The year 2020 came and covid came with that. Pretty sad huh! Since I had just started my business. But that didn’t stop the hustle. Even though some people where losing their jobs I was still getting blessed. I’m very thankful for that,

2021- I got blessed with another baby boy. It seems pretty hard at first since I did have a toddler as well. Had so many thoughts but as always God had he’s ways. Husband and parents gave me the support I needed to keep on going.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I feel like it has been a smooth ride. I’ve had so much support from family and friends.

Sometimes it  can be hard to have people book with you since here in Houston we do have many talented photographers. But I never lost hope. Theres bread for everyone. If that’s one way to say it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My work speaks for its self. I love and enjoy capturing special moments. Anything and anyone. I put my heart and soul In to it. The love and passion I have for my job it’s unexplainable.

What matters most to you?
My family, they are my team, my motivation the reason for this dream.
