Inspiring Conversations with Beatriz Vega of JB Sweet Temptations

Today we’d like to introduce you to Beatriz Vega.

Hi Beatriz, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Beatriz Y. Vega. I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. In 2014 I decided to move to the United States. Graduated in marketing and introduction to tourism in 2011. Even from the bottom of my heart, I was passionate about making desserts and cakes. In 2019 I started my first sale under my business JB Sweet Temptations, I did not think that this risk was so effective, that is why I decided to strengthen my knowledge and acquire new tools. In 2022 I decided to emigrate to France where I graduated as a pastry chef and cake design at Lumas Cakes Paris. I’m still working hard to go further because dreams have no limits…

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Until today, my path has been calm and constant.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about JB Sweet Temptations?
My name is Beatriz Yanice Vega Santiago. I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and currently living in Magnolia, Texas. 3 years ago I decided to pursue my lifelong dream of starting my own baking business known as JB Sweet Temptations. I strive to ensure all cakes, pastries, sweets are done to perfection. I graduated from a baking academy in Paris, France. What separates my business from others is my ability to be creative, and flexible and create the perfect taste for each customer I provide service for. What I am most proud of brand-wise is how quickly my business has grown in such little time.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
In my life, there could’ve been experiences in which I’ve had bad luck but I’ve learned how to convert those experiences into positive motivation and never lose faith in God.
