Today we’d like to introduce you to Nisa Robinson.
Hi Nisa, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I always wanted to start my candles business but procrastination was my biggest problem I would always start somewhere and eventually stop but one day I woke up & decided to quit my job and fully focus on my business rather than putting my hard work into someone else’s now I’m all in & have my website up, have my own logo and DBA and business is doing great can’t wait to see where this takes me it’s only the beginning.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Hasn’t been smooth My biggest enemy was procrastination I wasn’t feeling motivated enough nothing is ever easy especially starting from scratch by yourself.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I make decorated scented candles I’m most proud of finally putting my all into my business, & what sets me apart from others is my candles are handmade every detail is made with wax.
What are your plans for the future?
My future plans are to expand I currently make my candles in the kitchen I plan on getting myself a store of some sort and adding a helper or 2, of course, to help with that store and also I want to add more products to reach a worldwide audience.
