Hi Kaitlin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am a makeup artist, I’ve always had a passion for makeup and cosmetics, I started in high school then started my business and doing makeup officially as a side hustle in college. Now I have just launched my first signature lipgloss & upload makeup tutorials and reels as well as take clients.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As with any business, it has its days. Growing clientele staying consistent and selling and promoting your product can be tuff but with consistency, everything works out.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am also a registered labor and delivery nurse. I have a nursing page where I give tips and tricks and advice and post all about my journey as a nurse. The new skills I’m learning and the things I aspire to do. I’m most proud of my passion for advocating for women’s health.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My advice is to be consistent and confident in everything you do. Even when it seems impossible keep going . Keep posting, keep practicing.
