Today we’d like to introduce you to ELOW The Great. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Born in the Philippines and raised in the U.S. ELOW’s roots come from his nomadic experiences of growing up through hardships we all can relate to.
Father 1st and Artist 2nd
ELOW always has a straight focus on his goals. His lyricism and cadence is what bring his artistry to life. Originating from acoustic music, contemporary and alternative genres.
ELOW has no boundaries.
ELOW surprised us all and switched his genre to Hip-Hop, Trap, RnB and a new genre what he calls “Dad Rap”. Sticking to his roots, his 1st EP How It’s Changed released in May 2020; his song “Late Nights (2am)” soon after; ELOW released an original written acoustic single EP “Arson” introducing us with his smooth yet raspy vocal performance.
ELOW’s 1st album To Each Their Own was released in August 2020 in collaboration his old-time friend Wes Hill; ELOW introduced us to his amazing lyrics, rhyming and cadences.
The beats were produced by himself in his home studio dedicating hours to his work.
Self thought in sound engineering and music production ELOW’s various mix of sounds creates a new type of music, something completely different from what we hear in today’s modern rap hiphop music.
For Your Allusion Only; ELOW’s 2nd Album is packed with FIRE Songs reaching a 37k streaming mark. Songs such as Leviathan his hit single from the album reaching a total 16k following up with Battlefield, Under Rated and Vibing On You.
ELOW’s newest single Green Goblin reached 62k since its release on May 29th, 2021 and still racking up numbers

Reaching 1.2 mil streams collectively on Spotify.
His most recent release Red Line was released May 11 2022 and as of date has reached 113k streams on Spotify and still running.
With now being discovered and offered by Kyu Boi (ShadowMob/SPC) himself to join the legendary Houston Tx Rap group ShadowMob/ Mind Control Records as their newest 2nd Generation ShadowMob member; which is closely affiliated with the even more legendary South Park Coalition family umbrella.
Now gaining more traction than before. ELOW The Great has showcasing his skills in live performances in many various different events, venues and locations in Houston.
Family 1st is the main inspiration of heart in his music. ELOW’s style, cadence and life experiences in his music is what make his artistry a crafted trade. His lyrics and wordplay is something you wouldn’t want to miss, hit replay and listen again.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No not for us, as an indie artist at the end of the day you still need money to pay the bills and put food on the table.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Man, honestly I’m pretty much everything I Jack Of All Trades you can say a professional day job for the past 12-13 years has been a buyer Or someone say Purchasing. Honestly, that job is way easier than performing music in most cases. However, there are pros and cons just like everyone else’s jobs but at the end of the day whether is your normal day job or it’s a hobby you like to do to turn into a career you have to put forth all your hard work and effort towards it manifest reasons and set goals.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
You know even though I live in Texas and I’ve been here since 2000 I’m really from Mississippi directly Pearl Mississippi but we were always traveling back-and-forth Jackson so I just normally say Jackson Mississippi to most people I do remember a time in my childhood back then though when my little brother and I were climbing trees in our front yard I went up first because I was the big brother and because I wanted to make sure none of the branches were going to break if he was to grab one. So as I predicted I found a weak branch and I told him to not grab this one because if you do you’ll probably fall and of course, it happened my brother and I laugh about it now because after he fell from the tree, he hurt his back I carried him into our backyard he was so much in pain I didn’t know what to do so I just put my head over his face I carried him inside into our bedroom because we shared a room my sister had her own room and I remember as I come through the back door from the backyard my mom asked me what’s wrong with your little brother and I just respond to her because I was scared I didn’t know what to do I just told her nothing he’s just tired because it’s so hot outside and then she said then why are you carrying him I said because he’s tired mom he asked me to carry him lol.
