Today we’d like to introduce you to Monica Grinage-Prince, CMP, CMM.
The Hines Center for Spirituality and Prayer started as a vision of Christ Church Cathedral (the oldest church in Houston). The visionaries wanted to create a non-denonminational, non-judgmental safe space for people that live and work in downtown Houston to experience mind and body wellness through spiritual practices such as Yoga, mediation, centering prayer and more. The Hines center is centrally located in the heart of Downtown and is is host to various events and special occasions.
Has it been a smooth road?
The Hines Center is a very unique entity, as a nonprofit organization operating in the hustle of the city bringing movement classes, special events and venue rental to the community.
Like many nonprofits, The Hines Center thrives off of membership and generous donor support.
Needless to say, operating a growing nonprofit in the city is a daunting yet rewarding task.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
The Hines Center is a nonprofit community center that offers mind and body wellness programs. The Center hosts classes, workshops, special events and offers private event venue rentals. The uniqueness of the Hines Center is we are not a Yoga studio, we are a community that offers space and a multitude of options for individuals to connect spirituality and mentally.
