Today we’d like to introduce you to Leslie Frias.
Hi Leslie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am a 23 years old Mexican female aspiring to be a Medical esthetician. Looking back in time I grew up being an older daughter/sister. Living in the area of Antoine and Gulf bank, I wouldn’t pay much attention to the way we were living until I started to grow up and had a vision of my life and realized I wanted to be someone in life and thank my family for everything they did for me, most importantly because I saw how hard my parents sacrificed coming to this country to better our lives. Mom always taught me to be hardworking and never depend on nobody for anything. I always kept those words in consideration but what can I say life can get rough. Therefore we moved and from the age of 16 I started to work hard, and I got to be a first-generation graduate from Klein forest high school.
Although I graduated, I didn’t really have a plan after school so I took a year off bought my car and went to Lone star community college at my age I was confused on what I really wanted to be but I decided to try out dental hygiene. Covid took over in between my college years and I got more into the beauty industry I always loved to do my makeup so I decided to get my makeup certificate and started to book clients little by little I enjoyed making girls feel good about themselves and embracing their beauty. Looking more into it and researching, I decided to do something that I loved and enjoyed for the rest of my life and found a better passion. I started to put every distraction away and let all bad energies go and saw all the positive outcomes of becoming an esthetician. I am currently an esthetician student I have been certified as a lash technician in the past three months full of blessings. And still have a lot more to achieve.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Life is not easy I did struggle to get where I was at I had to work hard I have the role of an older sister and daughter. Therefore I help my family I had times when I was going through the wrong road as a teenager, I wouldn’t say I was the best daughter I had my flaws we are human. But I realized what life is really worth. What is worst than wasted talent?
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

What are your plans for the future?
