Community Highlights: Meet Cristie Siegele of Sana Sana Reiki Botanica

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cristie Siegele.

Hi Cristie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a healing artist from Costa Rica raised in Houston.

I practice different healing modalities in a nourishing approach. My practice is heart-centered offering a safe space for healing.

I began my yoga teacher training at Kripalu School of Yoga in 2012, where I was introduced to Reiki. After graduating from Boston University’s Sargent College for Health and Rehabilitation Sciences with a degree in Therapeutic Studies and Music in 2013, I began my Reiki training in Vermont in 2014. At Reiki training, I was introduced to Sacred Plant Medicine where I then began my herbalism training the following season in 2015.

My passion to help others is a constant that continues to inform my practice and what I can offer. What has manifested into Sana Sana Reiki Botanica over the years has been a dream in the making from helping my dream clients to continue to expand into a community reiki garden and teach yoga, mindfulness, reiki training, and workshops like making kombucha.

Sana Sana Reiki Botanica is currently offering in-home private bodywork sessions and working hard to launch from the garden into art markets and share yoga and meditation classes as soon as possible.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I am still in the early stages of starting up and it takes time and works to make and launch products, classes, marketing, etc. But life is always finding the balance between my own practice on the mat and offerings off the mat. I am grateful to be busy helping clients hands-on that taking the time for hands-off work to launch my business is a healthy challenge to have!

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Sana Sana Reiki Botanica is a nourishing form of plant spirit medicine, a co-creation of offerings from the garden to a massage table and a yoga mat.

Everything in Sana Sana Reiki Botanica is reiki infused from seeds to tea to the calendula oil used in bodywork sessions. All of my ingredients are organic, responsibly sourced or from my reiki garden.

I offer bodywork and energy work along with yoga, meditation, and mindfulness classes… And am working on launching my botanica into art markets and finding space to offer workshops, like kombucha making, herb walks, reiki circles and training, sound baths and more!

I also offer pet reiki and massages!

How do you think about luck?
I am fortunate to work with my dream clients and start up my business so far simply through word of mouth!
