Hi India, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My designing journey first began at the age of 16, at this time I considered designing as a hobby. I would make all of my friend’s flyers with no charge just loved being creative! After 1 year of designing, my mother encouraged me to take my designs more seriously from then designz by indy was born, I loved the idea of my business becoming big one day.
India designs co was first introduced as “designz by indy” pretty basic right yes! I know. The brand name can from the trendy graphic designers I would see on my explore page, from then my design career officially began.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Nothing in life is easy, most successful people overcome the biggest challenges. One off the biggest challenge for me would have to be gaining clientele, any clientele. With any new business starting out customers are not automatically drawn to booking / purchasing from you. My first 20 clients were the same friends I was designing for, took seven months to receive my first actual client.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a graphic / web designer, India Design Co specializes in digital graphics + marketing. We are best known for our logos, website designs & content creation (our best sellers). The biggest accomplishment to date would be becoming a celebrity graphic designer, started as a hobby to with individuals who inspired me. By far, my creativity & drive sets me different from others, once completing a project I am already thinking about my next passion project. Projecting my vision to the world is the end goal.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
With my business, I have experienced more good than bad, extremely grateful for that. Bad/good has been experienced throughout my life, with more life to go, I intend on riding life with a glass half full.
